![]() at 1105, my wife tried to buy a coffee and the woman said they were closed. The lady at the coffee shop was a great example of how little they all cared. they were rude at the front desk and never seemed to give a s$%t about the guests of the hotel. When i pay upwards of $300 a night, i would expect at least a little courtesy from the hotel staff. We also really liked the layout of our suite as it had a little kids cabin with bunkbeds built in. it wasn't busy as most were outdoors and across the street a the six flags. Let me start with a positive My children thoroughly enjoyed the indoor waterpark. Most of the staff there had attitude once I raised concerns about the disgusting room. For the amount of money I paid, you would expect at least a clean room! As I left, not one person asked how our stay was, as I assume they could care less. I am extremely disappointed with our experience and will not return to this hotel/resort. The next room was a little bed, but still gross. It was not going to be offered though unless I raised a stink. I called the front desk yet again and was told that no one could come for at least and hour and a half!! I couldn't take it anymore, I explained all the things that were wrong and we were FINALLY moved to another room. The sink that was "fixed" the day before also let go and flooded our floor that morning. when we woke up the next morning and looked at our ceiling, we discovered spit balls all over the ceiling above our head. As we went to bed that night, we found black hairs in our bed, almost as if they didn't change the sheets. I wouldn't bring kids over the age of 10 there or they will be bored. The indoor water park was nice, but small. When we arrived back at our room, the sink was "fixed" but they left behind a very dirty sink which we cleaned ourselves. ![]() After about an hour, we headed back to the lodge to go to the indoor water park. Many rides were either not running or broken altogether. They spent most of the time talking to each other and ignoring the guests. Most staff that we encountered there were uninformed or had no care that we were there. When I asked what time that was, the girl asked me to tell her.she had no idea what time they were open until. When we arrived, we rented a double stroller for $23 (very expensive) and were told it needed to be back before the park closed. The amusement park was our next disappointment. We left for the amusement park and figured it would be taken care of. We called down to the registration desk and they did send house keeping and maintenance to our room. Upon entering our room we were met with an overpowering smell of stale cigarettes (I did not expect this at a non smoking facility) and within 20 minutes encountered our first few issues: We discovered mold in the refrigerator and our sink was clogged and would not drain. We arrived around 1pm and were able to check in a little early which was nice, however that is where the "nice" ends. When we arrived back at our room, the sink was "fixed" but they.
