Using your jigsaw, follow your lines to cut your crescent moon out and lightly sand the edges. Using both of your wooden circles, set one on top of the other and trace your crescent moon onto the circle. Remember those round wooden circles I used for the DIY Lunar Wall Art project? I had a couple wooden circles leftover and I couldn’t wait to get started on this, I literally jumped out of bed ready to make this DIY Wooden Moon Shelf. I even looked at flea markets and thrift stores, but I couldn’t find anything that was what I envisioned. I do love those geometrical wall shelves and considered making one of those. I wanted something that was unique, but not too crazy. I needed a shelf to put some of my crystals onto when I move into my new apartment. This DIY wooden moon shelf is probably one of my favorite DIY projects I’ve done in a long time. I was happy to add another one into the list today!
